Seeking Re-Election to a 4th Term of Office.

I am again asking for your support seeking re-election as Nakina's Ward Councillor in the upcoming October 27th Election. Advance polls open on October 20th. For your consideration is my brochure.

Nearing the conclusion of term three, I filed my nomination on January 30th. I've enjoyed the opportunities to help shape Greenstone since coming on to Council in 2004. With a host of challenges and opportunities affecting all residents, businesses and industry, I remain committed to the necessary time and enthusiasm that is required. I will continue to be prepared for all of our council meetings and support the municipal interests by volunteering to serve on the subcommittees which invite expertise. I pledge to influence the necessary changes and bring knowledge, energy, logic and an influential voice to the discussions and debate.I am engaged with the challenges serving as the Municipal representative both on the Executive and Board of the Thunder Bay District Health Unit. As a councillor, I have focused and am chairing the Administration and Finance subcommittee and a member of the I.T. subcommittee.

Community issues and interests are described in my blog currently with over 14,000 pageviews.

My Facebook site, "Greenstone Matters" has 160 members and is growing. Both of these sites along with a ward newsletter which I publish, are ways in which I have chosen to communicate and interact with all of the residents of Greenstone. I'm always reachable by phone and e-mail.

Thank you to all of the readers and followers who care about our community! I'd be honoured to continue and serve our community. With your support to re-elect me to serve another term of office, I pledge to continue serving you with pride and professionalism as your Nakina Ward Councillor.
