Ontario Good Roads Assoc. Annual Conference Pre-planning

Appreciate the opportunity to meet face to face with several ministers while at OGRA, Feb. 24-26. I'll be joining Mayor John MacEachern of Manitouwadge on Sunday afternoon meeting with the Minister of Transportation, to ensure the Industrial Road connecting Manitouwadge through to Caramat and Hwy 11 is restored. 

On Monday morning, we will be meeting with the Minister of Transportation pressuring for improved winter road maintenance. While fines are appropriate, they do not compensate for loss of life! We have all seen and driven across our northern highways. They have been deplorable. 

Lobbying against the inflationary hydo rates and the municipal pressures associated with OPP increased costs will be prominant during the Ministers forum.
